2 SEPARATE NEEDS WE WANT DONORS TO UNDERSTAND:

1.  "OPERATING FUND"

  • No dues to receive our emails, use our website and participate in our events, but your donations cover operating expenses like--
    • Fees for the company that hosts our website
    • Cost of flowers or a small donation to a specified charity when a brother passes to Chapter Eternal
    • Cost of liability insurance
    • Fees for required corporate filings
    • Event-related costs and small incidental costs for supplies, postage, etc.

2.  "LEGACY FUND" FOR SCHOLARSHIPS AND OTHER GRANTS

  • Scholarships for Kappa Gamma candidates and brothers
  • Scholarships for offspring of alumni attending Cal Poly Pomona
  • Strategic Grants to Cal Poly Pomona itself that enhance our standing at the university


Different purposes and tax rules, so we have 2 Separate “CAMPAIGNS”
(Separate times, separate payment routes, separate pots of money)

Money held by SNEF, invested, we share in gains, and grants are

based on our Legacy Fund Committee's grant recommendations
